Suspect Wanted In Connection With East Nashville Robberies

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have asked the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in at least three robberies in East Nashville.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said 25-year-old Daunte Lillard is wanting in questioning for a robbery that occurred at a Wendy's restaurant on Gallatin Pike in December 2013. They said the suspect is also wanted in connection with robberies that occurred at the Piggly Wiggly located on Dickerson Pike and a Title and Loans business in Inglewood.

Police have already arrested Lillard ‘s younger half-brother, 21-year-old James Cowan. He has been charged with violating his parole for a robbery that occurred in 2010. They said the suspects were caught on surveillance video during the robbery at Wendy's.

"The built of the suspects all match – five-foot-eight-inches tall, a medium build, early 20s," said Lt. Greg Blair with the Metro Nashville Police Department. "The one individual is wearing the black and white sneakers in every video and also the male black with hazel eyes."
