Hundreds Of State Workers Could Be Moving Into UBS Tower
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Hundreds of state employees could soon be moving out of the historic Cordell Hull Building downtown.
The Nashville Business Journal reports a lease proposal is under consideration that would move the offices of the state Attorney General and D-C-S out of Cordell Hull and into the U-B-S Tower on Deaderick Street.
If plans are approved, state employees would be in their new offices by next spring.
The Cordell Hull Building was at the center of a petition earlier this year to save the historic site from being demolished.
Those plans have been put on hold.
