Police: Man Shot In Leg During Attempted Robbery In North Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A 40-year-old man told police he was shot in the leg during an attempted robbery on Tuesday night.
Metropolitan Nashville Police officers were called to Nashville General Hospital following the shooting.
The victim told police he was leaving an apartment building in north Nashville when a light blue Chevrolet Malibu pulled and attempted to rob him around 10:20 p.m.
When the victim told the robber he didn’t have anything on him, the victim said he heard one shot and fell to the ground.
The vehicle fled toward Charlotte Pike.
The victim, who was shot at least once in the leg, was taken to the hospital by private vehicle. His injuries were not considered life threatening.
Officers were unable to locate a crime scene. The shooting remained under investigation.
