NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Saturday night’s flash flooding has taken its toll on homes across Middle Tennessee, including the driveway in front of a White Bluff woman's home.
Pat Scholfield is worried the next big rain could wash her driveway away completely.
She said flooding rains have run over the highway by her home, because a nearby culvert storm drain remains blocked, causing the damage to her driveway.
Scholfield said she needs a good driveway to depend on, because she said at her age, she can't always depend on her feet.
“No, I can't,” said Scholfield. “I try to go to the mailbox, but some days, I get in my car and I come up here.”
The Mayor of White Bluff said TDOT is working with Pat to fix the problem.
