Code Orange Air Quality Alert Issued For Nashville Area
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Code Orange Air Quality Alert has been issued for the Nashville area on Tuesday.
The Tennessee Department of Conservation said the alert was in effect until midnight.
Ground level ozone concentrations within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards. While the general public is not likely to be affected, active children and adults along with people with a respiratory disease such as asthma should limit prolonged outdoor exertion.
