Police Work To Identify Suspects In Church Street Bar Shooting
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police want to identify two men they believe were connected to the Friday night shooting outside a bar on Church Street.
On Wednesday, Metropolitan Nashville Police released an image from surveillance of two men who were inside club WKND before the shooting. Detectives from the West Precinct believe the two men were somehow connected to the gunfire that broke out just before 11 p.m. Friday.
Police said the suspected gunman had been ejected from the bar about 15 minutes prior to the incident. He reportedly left without confrontation but stated he would return.
At least three people were injured in the shooting, including a man working as security for a valet service who was critically wounded. A woman was shot in the leg, while another bullet grazed a man’s foot.
The gunman was described as a black man with very long braids. He is approximately 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds.
