CREATED Jul 23, 2014

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. – An overnight fire at a home in Goodlettsville has been deemed suspicious by investigators.

The State Fire Marshal was called to the home on McCoin Drive following the early Wednesday morning fire.

Smoke was visible when firefighters first got on the scene just after 4 a.m. It appeared the blaze started in two separate rooms, and firefighters had to break out several windows to extinguish the flames.

It was believed the home was vacant, and no injuries were reported.

The Fire Marshal will determine whether the fire was intentionally set.

An estimate of damages was not immediately available.
