Police Investigating Shooting Death In Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. - Police in Jackson are investigating a homicide after a man was shot to death after answering a knock at his door.
Police spokesman Tyreece Miller said the investigation into the slaying of 22-year-old Robert Beasley Jr. is ongoing.
Investigators found Beasley inside his apartment around 10:15 p.m. Sunday. He was transported to Jackson-Madison County General where he was pronounced dead.
Police are seeking information on a bronze or gold SUV seen leaving the scene after the shooting.
