Clinic Help Kids With Back-To-School Health Needs
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A local health service provider has stepped in to help parents and their children with their immunization needs before the new school year.
On Saturday, United Health Neighborhood Services hosted its annual “Back to School Health Day.”
The event gave parents and their children a chance to catch up on everything needed before it's time to head back into the classroom. The clinic served as a one stop shop for everything, from immunization needs to physicals.
“They can get their physicals, their shot records. They can get a dental screening. We can help them enroll in insurance. Whatever they need,” said Mary Bufwack, CEO.
Organizers said they will continue holding clinics each day closer to the official first day of school. August 6 is the first day of school for Metro Nashville Public Schools.
