CREATED Jul 19, 2014

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have asked the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a triple shooting outside a Nashville bar.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the shooting was reported just before 11 p.m. Friday outside club WKND on Church Street.

Police said the suspected gunman had been ejected from the bar about 15 minutes prior to the incident. He reportedly left without confrontation but stated he would return.

At least three people were injured in the shooting, including a security guard who was critically wounded. A woman was shot in the leg, while another bullet grazed a man’s foot.

As of Saturday, the security guard was said to be in stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

None of the victims’ identities have been released.

The suspect was seen on surveillance video leaving the scene. He was described by police as a black male with long braids, around five-feet-ten-inches tall. He was wearing a blue shirt, dark pants and was carrying a white umbrella.

Anyone with information has been asked to call the Emergency Communications Center at 862-8600 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
