22-Year-Old Man Wanted In North Nashville Shooting
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 22-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting in north Nashville on Wednesday night.
Metropolitan Nashville Police said Gary Floyd is wanted for attempted criminal homicide for allegedly shooting a man Wednesday afternoon in the 1600 block of 22nd Avenue North.
Floyd had apparently gotten into an argument with 34-year-old Jason Rhodes on Tuesday night. Police said Floyd drove to Rhodes' home and confronted him before the shooting.
Police said Rhodes was among a group of people who were sitting outside the home when he was shot around 5:30 p.m.
Rhodes was shot in the abdomen. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
Floyd was last seen in a burgundy Toyota sedan. Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to contact North Precinct detectives at (615)862-7901 or (615)74-CRIME.
