MT. JULIET, Tenn. – Police in Mt. Juliet want to identify a man who may know information about a stolen wallet.

Mt. Juliet Police said a man reported his wallet, which contained a large amount of cash, had been stolen on June 12.

The victim told police that he had left his wallet on top of his vehicle while at the Mapco at 11247 Lebanon Road. He then drove away, and the wallet fell off.

When he returned to the gas station to look for his wallet, the store clerk told him a man had come inside to report he had found a wallet in the parking lot. However, the man did not give the wallet to the clerk or return it to the victim.

Surveillance video showed the person-of-interest was wearing a gray t-shirt with a landscaping company logo. He was seen getting in and out of a landscaping-style work truck.

Anyone who recognizes the man from video surveillance was asked to call Mt. Juliet Police at (615) 754-2550.
