NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Investigators have asked for help from the public to identify the burglary suspects who broke into a convenience store during the early morning hours of Independence Day.

Surveillance video captured the suspects around 3:30 a.m. as they broke out the front door glass at the Citgo on 501 Ermac Drive on Friday, July 4.

The suspects wore black masks, black jackets and blue jeans. While they apparently tried to remain anonymous, police found some clues that could reveal their identities.

One suspect’s jacket had a sizable rip on the back left side. The other had distinct rips in the back right pocket of his jeans.

The Chevrolet pickup truck used as a getaway vehicle also had some unique characteristics. The truck was a white 4x4, but had a black tail gate. The vehicle also had horizontal ladder racks on the front and back of the bed.

Anyone who knows anything about the burglary or recognizes the suspects should call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME (615-742-7463).
