Police Respond To 2 Alleged Assaults At South Nashville Motel

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police were called to a motel in South Nashville for two alleged assaults Saturday morning. 

Both incidents were reported at the Executive Inn on Harding Place.

Officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department were called to the motel after the front desk clerk reported an assault. Police said Daniel Narvaez was arrested for allegedly jumping over the counter, throwing items, and choking the clerk.

Narvaez was taken into custody and charged with assault.

Later on in the morning, police responded to a second alleged assault. William McGilmer was arrested after detectives said he pulled a handgun on another guest.

Police said McGilmer was upset about the person making too much noise. He was also charged with assault.
