New Book Highlights Popular Nashville Food Truck Scene

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The author of a new book highlighting the increasingly popular food truck scene in Nashville held a book signing Saturday.

Author Julie Festa, a well-known food truck blogger, had a signing in Green Hills for her book called "Nashville Food Trucks: Stories from the Road."

The food truck scene in Music City has recently exploded in popularity.

Not only did people line up to get a copy of the book, but many also came out to try samples from some of Julie’s favorite food trucks around town.

Samples from Doughworks, The Rolling Fest, Biscuit Love Truck and Moover and Shakers were provided to guests hungry to try some of the best and most convenient food the city has to offer.

"I think it's that personal connection. You have the immediacy to speak with the chef and owner of the truck. It's that personal connection,” said Festa. “You can't have that in the big chain restaurants or even the smaller brick and mortar restaurants."

The book features over thirty food trucks and their owners, along with their favorite recipes to try at home.
