NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have arrested a 19-year-old woman accused of using a cup of bleach to attack a store clerk at Opry Mills Mall.

Metropolitan Nashville Police said 19-year-old Stalita Megna was arrested early Friday. She was booked into the Davidson County Jail on counts of aggravated assault and vandalism.

On May 31, police said Megna and Lakisha Frierson went into children’s clothing store Carter's and got into an argument with the clerk. Megna was seen carrying a disposable cup, which allegedly contained bleach, and police said threw it in the clerk's face and on nearby merchandise.

The victim was treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for burns to her face and chest.

Approximately $4,000 worth of merchandise was also damaged.

Frierson was taken into custody on Tuesday. She was charged with aggravated assault in concert and vandalism.

Megna was being held on $22,000 bond.
