Employee Arrested After Manager Discovers Child Porn On Office Computer
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A manager at a Nashville car repair shop got a rude awakening when she arrived at work to find child pornography on a computer. That led police to arrest one of her employees.
This discovery was made at the shop on Murfreesboro Pike in Antioch. A Davidson County affidavit said the manager logged into the office’s computer when she arrived at work Wednesday morning, and found several open websites that showed inappropriate images of young girls
The manager told Metropolitan Nashville Police officers she used surveillance video from the office to find out who had been on the computer the night before.
The employee was identified as 27-year-old Justin Connell. The manager told police the video showed Connell sitting at the computer for approximately an hour and a half after the shop closed for the day.
Investigators looked at the Internet history, and said most of the websites accessed had “preteen” in the title.
During an interview, Connell allegedly admitted to looking at the websites, which included disturbing images of girls between ages 9 and 16.
Connell was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor. His bond was set at $25,000.
