Police Look To Identify Walgreens Attempted Robbery Suspect
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have asked the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted robbery at a Walgreens Pharmacy in Nashville.
The incident was reported at a Walgreens, located in the 5000 block of Charlotte Pike.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the suspect entered the business at 6:40 p.m. and demanded prescription pain medication, saying he didn’t want anyone to get hurt. While the clerk went to get the manager, the suspect reportedly walked out of the store.
Police said no weapon was ever seen during the alleged incident.
The suspect was described as a white man in his 30s. He was said to be five-feet-eight-inches-tall, weighing 175 pounds.
