Clarksville Club Shut Down For Being Public Nuisance
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Police in Clarksville padlocked a nightclub Monday for being a public nuisance.
The Clarksville Police Department had been investigating Club Magic on Fort Campbell Boulevard since October 2013.
Investigators were able to collect necessary documentation to determine the club was a public nuisance.
When the documentation was submitted to the District Attorney’s Office, they presented the findings to Judge Ross Hicks, who ordered that the club be closed down and doors padlocked.
Details about why the club was declared a public nuisance were not immediately released, though they are usually due to repeated incidents.
