Soldier Accused Of Attack On Wife With Golf Club
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A Fort Campbell soldier was arrested for allegedly attacking his wife with a golf club.
Clarksville Police charged 31-year-old Scott Bata with aggravated domestic assault.
The Leaf-Chronicle reported he and his wife got into a fight after she tried to move a drunk and sick Bata into the bathroom on Saturday afternoon.
Bata allegedly responded by punching and hitting her in the face. At one point, she told police he had a golf club, but was not sure if he hit her with it.
The woman suffered a 3-inch gash on the top of her head, the paper reported.
Bata was booked into the Montgomery County jail on $5,000 bond.
