Laundromat Broken Into For 3rd Time In Recent Months

CREATED Jul 7, 2014

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A west Nashville Laundromat was broken into over the weekend for the third time in recent months.

Video showed the man threw a rock through the window of the Laundromat on Charlotte Avenue early Sunday morning. He ran away, but came back a couple of minutes later, broke out the glass on the doorway, and searched the building.

He then cut the power to the store before fleeing the scene.

By the time police arrived, he had fled the scene.

The owner said he watched the burglary on his cell phone, thanks to security cameras inside. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department's West Police Precinct is only a few doors away from the business.

The owner said it did not appear anything was stolen. He believes the same man is responsible for all the break-ins.

Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615)74-CRIME.
