Tenn. Man Dies In Single-Car Wreck In Northeast Louisiana
EPPS, La. (AP) - A Tennessee man is dead after his car ran through a stop sign and into a ditch and an embankment.
Louisiana state troopers say 44-year-old Troy Williams of Cordova, Tennessee, died late Friday at the intersection of Louisiana 577 and Louisiana 877 in East Carroll Parish.
They say Williams drove his Ford Mustang through the stop sign. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to Delhi Hospital, where he died.
Troopers said Williams wasn't wearing a seat belt and suspect he was impaired. A toxicology sample is being analyzed as part of a continuing investigation.
