Mt. Juliet Police: Pole Sign Pointing To New Headquarters Was Cut Down
MT. JULIET, Tenn. – Police in Mt. Juliet want to find out who cut down a brand-new sign that pointed to their headquarters.
Mt. Juliet Police said the department’s IT director noticed the banner pole sign was missing on Thursday morning.
The department transferred all operations to the new headquarters at 1019 Charlie Parkway last Friday, and the sign was installed that same day.
Anyone with information on the sign was asked to call Mt. Juliet Police.
The new headquarters feature additional offices, a larger evidence storage room, secure armory and additional interview rooms were among the new additions of the new facility.
Anyone needing police services will no longer have to visit the old location at City Hall.
A ribbon-cutting and open house has been scheduled for 9 a.m. on July 18. The public has been invited to tour the new headquarters.
