Police Looking To Identify Hermitage Robbery Suspect

HERMITAGE, Tenn. – Police have asked the public’s help in identifying a suspect, wanted in connection with robbing a Mapco gas station in Hermitage.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the suspect robbed the Mapco at 585 Stewarts Ferry Pike on June 20.

The suspect entered the Mapco just before midnight and allegedly demanded money from the register at gunpoint. He reportedly fled the scene with $8 cash.

Minutes later, police said the suspect also attempted to rob three victims outside a sports bar on Old Hickory Boulevard, where he also allegedly fired shots. One of the victims chased the suspect from the scene.

According to investigators, he fled in an older model red four-door sedan.

The suspect was described as a black man, around five-feet-eleven-inches tall, who appears to be in his 20s.
