NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man was hurt in a drive-by shooting in north Nashville early Wednesday morning.
The 30-year-old victim told Metropolitan Nashville Police he was talking on the phone outside a home on Boyd Drive around 1:45 a.m. when he noticed a dark-colored Honda drive by.
When the car drove by a second time, he heard gunfire and then realized he had been shot in the buttocks.
He called police, and was taken to Skyline Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. His name was not immediately released.
Police officers searched the area, but did not locate the gunman or the vehicle. Detectives are trying to determine the motive for the shooting and develop suspects.
The investigation was ongoing.
