Mt. Juliet Police Transfers All Operations To New Headquarters
MT. JULIET, Tenn. – The Mt. Juliet Police Department has transferred all of its operations into its new headquarters.
The new headquarters are now located at 1019 Charlie Daniels Parkway. The department started moving into the new building two weeks ago, but was finalized by the move of the Emergency Communications Center Tuesday afternoon.
“We are excited to be in our new home, which was renovated to better-serve our community,” said Police Chief James Hambrick. “Our new headquarters is something our community can truly be proud of.”
Police said additional offices, a larger evidence storage room, secure armory and additional interview rooms were among the new additions of the new facility.
Anyone needing police services will no longer have to visit the old location at City Hall.
A ribbon-cutting and open house has been scheduled for 9 a.m. on July 18. The public has been invited to tour the new headquarters.
