Litter Leads To Arrest Of 2 Wanted Men In Mt. Juliet

MT. JULIET, Tenn. – Litter blowing from a truck bed led to the arrest of two wanted men in Mt. Juliet.

Mt. Juliet Police said an officer spotted trash blowing from the bed of a 1993 Chevrolet pickup truck along Lebanon Road around 8:30 a.m. Monday.

After stopping the truck and conducting a computer check on the driver and passenger, the officer learned both had active warrants from two nearby agencies.

The driver, 45-year-old Bruce Tibbs, was taken into custody on a warrant for Failure to Appear out of Wilson County.

The passenger, 43-year-old Shonn Tibbs, was arrested on a felony warrant for theft of a motor vehicle in Nashville.

The two men from Old Hickory were booked into the Wilson County jail.
