Wife Charged With Stabbing Husband To Death
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A wife was arrested Monday and charged with the stabbing death of her husband.
Detectives with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department took Sandra Barnette Hardimon into custody and charged her with first-degree murder.
Police said she stabbed her husband, Clifton Hardimon, to death inside a bedroom at the their home on Sunnyview Drive back in May.
Investigators said Sandra called police to report the stabbing at 9:08 p.m. on May 4. She then told officers that she and her husband had been involved in an argument.
The investigation showed Sandra armed herself with a kitchen knife and went after Clifton in the bedroom.
Sandra Hardimon has a violent history with prior convictions for attempted second-degree murder in 1999 and multiple assault counts in the 1980s and 90s.
