2 Injured After Car Crashes Through Brentwood Gas Station

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Two people were injured Saturday, when a car crashed through a gas station in Brentwood.

Officials with the Brentwood Police Department said the incident was reported around 5:30 p.m. at the Mapco Mart on Moores Lane.

Police said the driver of a Chevrolet Cobalt drove through the front doors of the business and partially into the building.

The Mapco clerk suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to St. Thomas Hospital. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Williamson Medical Center with minor injuries. 

Neither of their identities was known.

The business sustained heavy damage as a result of the incident. Crews were called to the scene to determine the structural integrity of the building. Once the building is deemed to be safe, the vehicle will be removed from the area.

This incident remains under investigation.
