Police Look To Identify Dollar Club Theft Suspect
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have asked the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for robbing a business in South Nashville.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the incident occurred around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, at Dollar Club, located on Nolensville Pike.
Police said the suspect entered the store and asked the clerk for money, so he could help a family member involved in an apparent car crash. The cashier told him she did not have any money and the suspect left the business.
According to investigators, he returned to the store and told the clerk he had a gun. She complied and gave him an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was described as a white male, between 40 to 50-years-old with white, brownish hair. He reportedly fled the scene in a white, four door mid-sized SUV.
