CREATED Jun 25, 2014

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police want to identify a gunman who changed clothing after robbing a woman in a Madison parking lot on Tuesday morning.

Detectives with Metropolitan Nashville Police Department’s Madison Precinct said the suspect approached the victim while she was sitting in her vehicle with the window rolled down in the lot of Office Depot on Gallatin Pike.

The man, who was dressed in all black clothing, allegedly demanded money at gunpoint around 10:30 a.m.

He fled on foot with the woman’s wallet and cell phone. She was not hurt.

Police recovered the victim’s wallet and the suspect’s black clothing from behind a nearby business. Detectives said he changed into an orange tank top, grey shorts and black tennis shoes with green soles before fleeing the scene.

His braided hair was pulled back before and after the robbery.

Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615)74-CRIME.
