SPRING HILL, Tenn. – Police are investigating an attempted abduction of a 25-year-old woman in Spring Hill.
Around 10:18 a.m. Tuesday, Spring Hill police officers were called to Cadence Drive in the Hardin's Landing subdivision. The alleged victim told police that she was walking in her neighborhood when she was attacked from behind.
“I had just walked my dogs so I was like just in the middle of wait that could've been me,” neighbor Patty Chappell said. “Occasionally we'll see some strange cars going in the area back here that's not even been developed.”
The victim was able to get away during a brief struggle. She suffered a black eye and a few bruises.
“We're all looking out for each other. Never would I think we live in an area that would happen,” neighbor Becca Whitaker added.
The woman described her attacker as a white male in his early 30s, driving a white, four-door car with light tinted windows. She said she did not know him.
Spring Hill Police continued their investigation.
