Police: Woman Grazed By Bullet While Grilling Out In Backyard
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A woman was injured by gunfire while cooking out in her own backyard in north Nashville on Monday night.
The victim told Metropolitan Nashville Police officers that she was grilling out in the backyard of her home in the 2200 block of 14th Avenue North when someone opened fire.
She was grazed by the bullet in her ankle, but was not seriously hurt.
So far, police do not have any suspects. The motive for the shooting was also unknown.
