47-Year-Old Man Killed In Lebanon Crash
LEBANON, Tenn. - A 47-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Lebanon on Monday night.
Lebanon Police said Harold Dee Jones, of Lebanon, was killed when his 1984 Chevrolet pickup truck rear-ended a Freightliner truck cab along Hunter's Point Pike at North Hartmann Drive.
Investigators found the driver of the Freightliner, Aldiva Angel of Crossville, was traveling north on Hunter's Point Pike and had stopped for the traffic signal at North Hartmann Drive around 9:30 p.m. They believe Jones was unable to stop his truck in time before the crash.
Jones was not believed to be wearing a seatbelt, according to police.
Angel was not injured.
