North Nashville Shooting Lands Man In The Hospital
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A shootout in North Nashville landed a man in the hospital.
Sunday morning Metro police were called to Lunn Drive not far from the intersection of Kings Lane and Clarksville Pike.
When they arrived around 1:30 a.m. they found a man lying in the road with a gunshot wound.
Police say the victim told them he had shot another man in self-defense but would not offer any additional information.
Investigators spent the morning looking behind homes in the area in order to find a second victim. He was never found.
The first victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment. He is expected to be okay.
The investigation is ongoing.
