TBI Searching For Missing Nashville Teenager

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a missing child alert for a Nashville teenager.

Elizabeth Kennedy Jernigan is 16-years-old and was last seen at her home on Sunday

Metro Police say she expressed several times about not wanting to live there anymore.

The alert says Elizabeth has been known to use drugs and alcohol and is bi-polar.

The teenager has several tattoos including on her left forearm, bicep, chest and right side of her neck.

She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds.

Police say she could possibly be carrying a red purse.
