Man Wanted In Connection With Attempted Armed Robbery
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department have been looking for a suspect who was caught on surveillance video trying to rob a cash loan store.
Detectives said the male suspect walked up to the Advance Financial store at 3615 Nolensville Road around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and banged on the bullet proof glass.
Store clerks told police the man was wearing a mask and had a handgun. After the man pointed the gun at them, they ran into a back room with a steel door and called emergency dispatchers.
The suspect fled the scene, but not before being captured on surveillance video.
Police have looked at the video, but have not released a description of the suspect.
