Grundy Co. Man Wanted For Alleged Rape, Battery Of Child
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Grundy County man has been added to the State’s Most Wanted List after the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said he committed rape and aggravated sexual battery against a child.
Officials with the TBI said 47-year-old Samuel McCurry is wanted for four counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery and Rape of a Child.
On June 4, McCurry reportedly failed to appear in court on the charges.
Investigators said his last known address was at 324 Borne Road in Gruetli-Laager. He was described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a scar on his left cheek.
The TBI said McCurry has a history of escape and drug possession.
Anyone with information has been asked to call 1-800-TBI-FIND. A $1,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest.
