Teen Injured In Antioch Drive-By Shooting

ANTIOCH, Tenn. – Police have been searching for the suspect who jumped out of a car in Davidson County and shot a teenager before driving away.

The incident happened near 4800 Cimarron Way around 7 p.m. Monday.

Investigators said the 17-year-old victim was standing outside some apartments when a man hopped out of the vehicle and fired shots.

The teen was struck in the leg. He was sent to the hospital for treatment. His exact condition was unknown.

The only description of the suspect the teen was able to give authorities was that the man was driving a hatchback-style vehicle.

Police were actively searching for the suspect.
