Officials with the Office of the District Attorney General said Gregory Hodge was convicted of raping a 23-year-old woman back in May 2012.

He was only 17-years-old at the time of the crime.

Hodge entered the victim’s home on Booker Street just after 11 a.m. and raped her at gunpoint. He also stole cash and other items from her home.

After attacking the woman, whom he did not know, he ran away on foot to nearby getaway car.

Hodge turned himself in later that night at the Juvenile Justice Center. Since he was a juvenile at the time of the attack, he was later transferred to adult court.

Hodge pleaded guilty to aggravated rape, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, and employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous.

In an order released Friday, Davidson County Criminal Court Judge Steve Dozier sentenced Hodge to an effective sentence of 22 years in prison. He will have to serve 100 percent of that time.
