Paul McCartney Postpones Nashville Concert Until October
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Paul McCartney has postponed his June concert at Bridgestone Area until October as he continues recuperating from an illness that forced him to cancel several performances.
McCartney was originally scheduled to perform in Nashville on June 25. The show has been rescheduled for October 16.
The 71-year-old singer was forced to postpone much of his 2014 “Out There” Tour after he became ill with a virus while performing in Japan. McCartney said he is heeding doctor's orders to rest up a bit longer before resuming the tour.
"I’m sorry but it’s going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again. I’m feeling great but taking my docs' advice to take it easy for just a few more days. Look forward to seeing you all soon," McCartney said in a statement.
Tickets for the original June performance will be honored on the new date.
Shows in Louisville, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Dallas and New Orleans were also rescheduled.
