61-Year-Old Man Killed In Clarksville Crash

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A 61-year-old man was killed Sunday, in an early morning crash in Montgomery County.

Officials with the Clarksville Police Department said Donnie Hodges was killed shortly after 2 a.m. in a collision on Ted Crozier Boulevard in Clarksville.

Police said Hodges was traveling northbound when he somehow lost control of his pick-up truck and struck a stop sign at the intersection of October Road. The vehicle also struck a guardrail and flipped onto its right side.

Hodges was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities said he was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remained under investigation.
