Police Investigate After Shots Fired Inside Home; Man Tased

CREATED Jun 4, 2014
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Shots were fired inside a home in Antioch overnight, and police had to tase a man at the scene. Guns were also reportedly found outside the home.

Metropolitan Nashville Police officers were called to the home on Cedarview Drive on a domestic situation around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday.

When they got on the scene, they found that shots had been fired inside the home, including a window being shot out.

There were five people inside the home, including two children. No one was hurt.

Crime scene investigators arrived at the home a short time later after two guns were found outside the home. One of those, a shotgun, had been reported stolen.

While officers remained on the scene, they said they were forced to tase a man who was unruly and uncooperative with them. He was checked out by paramedics, and taken to the hospital as a precaution.

No charges have been filed, but police remained on the scene investigating.
