Concerts Held Tuesday Night Ahead Of CMA Music Festival

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Ahead of the official start of the CMA Music Festival on Thursday, there are plenty of chances to hear live music in Nashville on Tuesday night.

At 6 p.m., the fourth annual Music City Gives Back concert will kick off on Lower Broadway at 1st Avenue South. The annual benefit concert, hosted by Rodney Atkins, will include performances by Lee Brice, Dustin Lynch, Jana Kramer, and Josh Thompson.

The free concert benefits W.O. Smith Music School in Nashville. Donations for the cause will be accepted on-site.

Two star-studded Opry shows start at 7 p.m. and feature Opry members Carrie Underwood, Josh Turner, Terri Clark, the Oak Ridge Boys, Trace Adkins, along with Jennifer Nettles and country newcomer Charlie Worsham. Tickets are still available.

Prior to the shows, the Opry Plaza Party will be held at 5 p.m. with Charlie Worsham and Chris Janson taking the stage for a free performance.
