Crews Battle House Fire In South Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Crews battled a house fire in south Nashville on Monday morning.
The fire broke out just before 11:45 a.m. at the home on Pritchett Drive. Flames and smoke were visible when firefighters first got on the scene.
They were able to get the fire out quickly, but remained on the scene.
No injuries were reported. A cat was rescued from the home by firefighters, but it was expected to be ok.
It appeared the interior of the home suffered major damage, but an exact estimate of damages was not immediately known.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
