Ky. Man Facing Felony Charges After Pursuit
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Kentucky man, accused of leading officials on a high-speed pursuit, has been arrested on multiple charges.
Officials with the Kentucky State Police said 54-year-old Jerry Hardin was taken into custody around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, after allegedly leading troopers in a pursuit across two counties.
The chase began when Mammoth Cave Park Rangers attempted to pull over the suspect. Troopers said Hardin was able to evade the Park Rangers and the pursuit continued through Brownsville and Edmonson County.
He was eventually taken into custody two miles south of Cave City.
Hardin was booked into the Barren County Jail on 14 different charges, including Reckless Driving, Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in Motor Vehicle and Fleeing and Evading Police 1st Degree.
