Police Say 16-Year-Old Admitted Breaking Into Home Twice
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A 16-year-old teenager has admitted to breaking into a home on two, different occasions, according to police.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the teen allegedly broke into a home on Wimpole Drive on Sunday and Monday.
The boy, whose name was not released, reportedly told detectives he entered the home through a window. Police said cash and a $500 gift card were stolen from the home.
A neighbor identified the teen from video surveillance photos.
He has been charged with two counts of aggravated burglary.
