NASHVILLE, Tenn - An East Nashville mother is pleading for help with two dogs she said are terrorizing her East Nashville neighborhood.

Tan-Tanishya Terry said the dogs apparently live a few blocks from her on Grace Street.

Terry said earlier this week, she encountered them for the third time while she was walking her one-year-old son in a stroller. She said the dogs began circling her and acting aggressive, making her fear for her baby's life.

Terry said she wants help with the dogs and has called Metro Animal Control. According to her, it took several days for Animal Control to respond to one of her calls.

She said they can't do anything because the dogs haven't attacked, yet.

"At this point I'm scared," Terry said. "My child is now scared of dogs where he hasn't been. At this point, I need help."

NewsChannel 5 tried multiple times to find the owner, but was unsuccessful, Friday.

Several neighbors said they, too, have been harassed by the dogs.

Metro Animal Control did not return a request for comment.
