NASHVILLE, Tenn - A White Bluff family has pleaded for the public's help in tracking down the driver of a car which ran four people off the road, last Wednesday, and never looked back.

The family has put up their own money as a reward to track down this person.

The crash happened last Wednesday on Highway 7 in Maury County.

It injured 20-year-old Geovanni Garrett badly enough he had to be LifeFlighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Garrett has since been released and is recovering from his injuries at home.

He and the rest of his family said they want the person responsible brought to justice - even if the punishment is just a slap on the wrist.

They want whoever it is to know they caused a wreck which could have killed, Garrett, another woman and Sheatikia Gilbert and her 4-year-old son Jordan.

"I can't see how you can just keep going," Gilbert said. "I know you've got to see us in your rear-view mirror when you're going. How can you just keep going? If anything I hope and pray that they come forward and tell the truth."

The family is offering $1,000 of their own money for information which leads to an arrest of whoever was driving the car.

A witness told Garrett it is possibly a dark brown, late model Impala.

If you have any information on this crash, call the Maury County Sheriff's Department.
