NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Shots were fired into a home in a neighborhood in Madison early Thursday morning.
Officials with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said someone fired at least 30 rounds in a home in the 200 block of Manzano Road around 4:30 a.m.
The shots were fired into the front and back of the home. A glass door was broken and a water line was hit.
Five people, including two young children, were inside the home when it happened. No one was hurt.
The house across the street was also struck by the gunfire.
Officers remained on scene Thursday morning, collecting evidence and processing the scene.
In December, someone also opened fire on the home, and the bullet holes from that incident were still evident Thursday morning. It was unclear if the two incidents were connected, or if police knew why the home was being targeted.
Anyone with information was asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615)74-CRIME.
